SAFETY

arc group has implemented strict safety policies to ensure the wellbeing of its staff and workers. All potentially hazardous areas are clearly marked so that employees are aware of the danger.  Furthermore, new incidents are recorded and corrective measures are taken to mitigate the risk. In-house safety drills and drills and training are conducted often to ensure that the staff knows how to react in case of an emergency or a safety incident. A trained first aider is always present in our facilities to assist any injured person. ARC is also audited by external auditors to ensure that its safety code is on par with industry standards.

HEALTH

our primary manufacturing business is the production of detergent powders. The production process involves many chemicals which may be harmful to the workers if the correct protective measures are not taken. Therefore, outside every entrance of the factory, signboards in both English and Bengali are displayed so that the workers know the precautions they need to take before entering the area. We have introduced more efficient machinery, installed secure storage equipment and dust extractors so that our workers are not exposed to harmful chemicals

ENVIRONMENT

arc recognizes its responsibility towards protecting the environment. Every year we set targets to reduce our use of energy, electricity, and carbon dioxide. Over the last 5 years, the group has successfully recorded a gradual reduction in the use of energy, electricity, and carbon dioxide emission. We have also invested in an alternative sources of energy such as solar energy to reduce our dependency on using energy generated using fossil fuels.
